High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Anthony Davis (at CLE – $13,100): Needs 56 fantasy points. Davis has been over 80 fantasy points in two of his last three games. You typically know what you’re going to get from Davis because he’s an excellent player who posts monster numbers. But this one could be a blowout, which would obviously limit him. Maybe the Cavaliers can keep it together long enough to make it competitive, and it’s not like the Pelicans are great. Diagnosis: The only concern is a blowout. Otherwise, take Davis with confidence.

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs MEM – $8,700): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. Aldridge was down to 29.9 fantasy points against the Raptors, but he wasn’t really needed in the game. His scoring was still there, which is good. His rebounds were down thanks to DeRozan grabbing a bunch. The Grizzlies are on a back-to-back and maybe just aren’t very good. Expect Aldridge to be back in form in this game as DeRozan won’t be quite as amped up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (at MIL – $7,000): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. Siakam was right at value against the Spurs despite limited minutes in the blowout. His minutes should be back up in this one. He’s averaging 42 fantasy points in his two games against the Bucks this season. This has been his matchup and until I see him struggle against it, I’ll keep taking him. He’s been a reliable option for the majority of the season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling.
