DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 6, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,250
Bradley Beal (at OKC – $9,000): Needs 41.2 fantasy points. Beal was up to 54.2 fantasy points against the Heat on Jan. 4. With Wall out of the lineup, you more or less know what you’re getting from Beal. He’s going to get plenty of scoring opportunities and he has a high ceiling with the extra opportunities. The matchup is tough on Sunday with the OKC defense and this is where the extra attention will hurt him. Diagnosis: High ceiling but a tough matchup.
Devin Booker (vs CHA – $8,900): Needs 41.3 fantasy points. Booker has been up-and-down in recent games. He was down against the Clippers, which means he’ll be back up in this one if the trend continues. More importantly than the trend might be the matchup. The Hornets aren’t a good defensive team and are on a back-to-back. This should be a strong outing from Booker as he gets points and assists. Diagnosis: Love Booker on Sunday due to his talent and matchup.
Victor Oladipo (at TOR – $8,500): Needs 39.4 fantasy points. Oladipo was up to 59.75 fantasy points against the Bulls on Jan. 4. He had to do a bit more with his scoring as other guys around him went cold, but that’s the benefit of having a star player. He’ll have to do plenty in this game as the Raptors are an excellent team. The matchup is concerning, but Oladipo won’t lack for chances. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but a tough matchup. Expect him to step up.
