High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Tyler Johnson (at ATL – $5,100): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. Johnson has been a bit up-and-down in recent games, but he never lack for opportunities. And the matchup is great on Sunday. I think his minutes will be up in this one as the Heat have a relatively easy time against the Hawks. I like his game overall. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Nicolas Batum (at PHO – $4,700): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. A couple of things work in Batum’s favor. First, Jeremy Lamb is unlikely to play which means more opportunities for Batum. Second, the Hornets are trying to showcase him in trade talks. Finally, he gets the Suns. A lot of things are lining up for Batum on Sunday. Diagnosis: Great set of circumstances and a very good matchup. Still a risk because he’s Nic Batum.

DeAndre’ Bembry (vs MIA – $4,600): Needs 21 fantasy points. Bembry isn’t lacking for minutes right now and he’s doing enough to at least justify his salary. The matchup isn’t great, but he’s not going to hurt you at this salary given his typical production. I’m also a fan of Malik Monk due to Lamb’s injury, so keep an eye on him as well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
