High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Paul George (vs WAS – $10,300): Needs 47.2 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting with George. He’s been at 53 fantasy points in the last two games. There are two issues with George on Sunday. First, his salary has jumped way up. So he really needs a big game to justify the salary. He’s capable, it just makes it a little tougher to build around him. The other issue is the blowout factor. George will get his numbers, it just may not be enough. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but a blowout could limit him overall. If you think the game will be close, take with confidence.

Josh Richardson (at ATL – $7,000): Needs 31.9 fantasy points. Much like George, you know what you’re getting with Richardson right now. His ceiling isn’t nearly as high, but neither is his salary. And this one has slightly less blowout potential because Miami just doesn’t have that kind of team and the Hawks are at home. If nothing else, Richardson is going to get you value. A big scoring game would help him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

T.J. Warren (vs CHA – $6,300): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. I love Warren overall, but continue to worry about him because his value is tied to his scoring. Fortunately, I don’t foresee scoring being an issue in this game. The Hornets defense just isn’t good and they are on a back-to-back. Warren should get buckets in this game. Anything else he does only helps his value. Diagnosis: Good matchup, reliable, good ceiling.
