High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Dennis Schroder (vs WAS – $5,400): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. Schroder hasn’t been great in the last three games, but he’s at a good salary and he gets the Wizards on Sunday. They have no bench depth and simply aren’t a very good team. The opportunities are there for Schroder, he’s just not shooting well right now. But the lid will come off at some point. And this feels like the game where it happens. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a very good ceiling.

Dwyane Wade (at ATL – $5,200): Needs 22 fantasy points. Wade has been consistent in the last four, going over 24 fantasy points in each contest. And now he gets the Hawks. He plays a reliable game with his scoring and passing, although if the scoring isn’t there, sometimes the rest of his game suffers. But it’s the Hawks. Wade should have no issue in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a solid ceiling.

Malik Monk (at PHO – $4,100): Needs 17.4 fantasy points. No Jeremy Lamb means more Malik Monk. When the minutes are there, he produces. The minutes were there against the Nuggets on Saturday and should continue to be there against the Suns with Lamb being out and the Suns being the Suns. I like Monk’s game overall and think the scoring will be there. Diagnosis: High ceiling. Inconsistent due to minutes, but Lamb’s injury helps.
