FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 6, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Paul George (vs WAS – $10,200): Needs 42.9 fantasy points. George was at 49.6 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 4. The assist numbers have tailed off, but he’s scoring better than anyone in the league not named James Harden right now and does plenty with his assists and defense. The matchup is great and George is as reliable as they come at the moment. This should be another easy night at the office for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable wight a high ceiling. A blowout is possible.
Kawhi Leonard (vs IND – $10,000): Needs 42.1 fantasy points. As expected, Kawhi bounced back with a strong 59.2 fantasy point game against the Bucks on Saturday. It’s a back-to-back for the Raptors, which is slightly concerning. But Leonard typically plays a reliable game, the Raptors are at home, and this is another big game for the Raptors. And I typically trust Leonard in these big games. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Justise Winslow (at ATL – $7,000): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. You can go with Richardson or Winslow in this spot. Both are reliable options given their skills and matchup. I like Winslow a bit more just due to his salary and role. He’s going to get the assists and I expect his scoring to tick up due to the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling. Again, Richardson is fine in this spot, I just prefer Winslow.
