Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (vs DEN – $12,000): Needs 55.5 fantasy points. It’s Harden. He didn’t even play well against the Blazers, but still had 57.75 fantasy points against them. He continues to need a big game but he’s putting in the biggest games of this season. The matchup is tough, but you never have to worry about Harden when it comes to opportunities. Diagnosis: Can always build around Harden with confidence.

Luka Doncic (vs LAL – $7,700): Needs 35.1 fantasy points. Luka has been a little cold in recent games, but he’s still getting you value. He just isn’t having the big games that we’ve seen from him throughout the season. I’m not too concerned as the minutes will continue to be there, as well the opportunities. And it’s the Lakers on a back-to-back and on the road. A lot of things working in Doncic’s favor in this one. Expect a bounce-back performance. Diagnosis: Love this matchup for him on Monday. He’ll deliver.

D’Angelo Russell (at BOS – $7,300): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. Russell had 44.5 fantasy points against the Bulls on Sunday. It’s the Bulls, so don’t put too much stock into it. It’s a back-to-back, but Russell has been playing very well right now and he’s the kind of player who is going to raise his game in these big matchups. Expect his hot streak to continue in this one, even if the matchup isn’t great. Diagnosis: Red hot and a high ceiling. The matchup could be better.
