DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 7, 2019
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Evan Fournier (at SAC – $5,700): Needs 26 fantasy points. Fournier has been up the last two games. He’s been all over the place this season, but longtime readers will know how much I love games involving the Kings. Their pace just lends itself for fantasy opportunities. And Fournier can do a bit of everything when he is on his game. I’m going to trust him in this one. Diagnosis: Love the matchup and he has a good ceiling.
Bogdan Bogdanovic (vs ORL – $5,300): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Another reason to love the Kings on Monday is because they get to play the Magic. Bogdan was up to 42 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 5. He drew the start, but whether he’s starting or coming off the bench, the minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him. The Magic are a great matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Malcolm Brogdon (vs UTA – $5,200): Needs 24 fantasy points. Brogdon continues to play well for the Bucks. He was up to 32.75 fantasy points against the Raptors on Jan. 5. And his salary is dropping, which works in your favor. He averaged 27.5 fantasy points in two games against the Bucks last season. This almost feels like a trap as I can’t see Brogdon messing this up. Diagnosis: Love Brogdon at this spot given how well he’s played this season.
