DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 7, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
DeMarre Carroll (at BOS – $5,300): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Carroll had 34.5 fantasy points against the Bulls on Sunday. He’s playing excellent right now and even though this is a tough matchup and a back-to-back until he shows signs of slowing down, I will continue to trust him. The absence of Hollis-Jefferson helps his cause and as it lends itself to more opportunities for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Joe Harris (at BOS – $5,100): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Harris struggled against the Bulls, but he had been playing well and I still like his game overall. Trust him to bounce back. The matchup isn’t great, but this is the kind of game where role players shine and Harris is a role player who has been able to shine all season. He’ll deliver in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Nemanja Bjelica (vs ORL – $4,800): Needs 22 fantasy points. Bjelica continues to play very well for the Kings. He had 32.25 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 5. And his salary continues to drop, which only makes him more valuable on Monday. I love this game for him and it once again feels like a trap scenario. But I’ll fall into the trap because why not? Diagnosis: Love everything about Bjelica on Monday. He’ll deliver in a big way.
