Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (vs DEN – $12,900): Needs 54.8 fantasy points. It’s James Harden. Even if he has a rough night, he has a big night. And he’ll need a big night on Monday given this matchup. The Nuggets are really good and Harden will have to play a big role if the Rockets have hopes of winning this one. And you can count on Harden to play a big role. He costs a lot, but you can rest easy knowing you’re going to get at least 55 fantasy points from him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Luka Doncic (vs LAL – $7,700): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. Luka had 35.6 fantasy points against the Sixers on Jan. 5. He’s been a bit down in recent games, but that’s been more of a minutes issue as games haven’t too competitive for the Mavericks lately. This one should be competitive. The Mavericks are good at home and the Lakers can be scrappy. But the Lakers are also not very good without LeBron. Luka will deliver. Diagnosis: Love him on Monday. Expect a big game from him.

Buddy Hield (vs. ORL – $7,400): Needs 31.4 fantasy points. Hield has rediscovered his shooting form, which has made him a reliable option once again. He had 44 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 5. He’ll also chip in with assists and rebounds. The matchup is a good one because the Magic are not very good. Expect Hield to stay hot in this matchup. Diagnosis: Red hot, good matchup and a good ceiling.
