FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 7, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Nemanja Bjeclia (vs ORL – $6,100): Needs 25.7 fantasy points. Bjelica had 32.3 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 5. He’s been solid for the Kings all season and his salary has dropped, which helps you out. Minutes are not an issue and he does a bit of everything. You know what you’re getting from him on most nights and he should produce in this game given the opponent. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
DeMarre Carroll (at BOS – $5,400): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Carroll has been strong for the Nets during this recent stretch. He was up to 33.8 fantasy points against the Bulls on Sunday. The injury to Hollis-Jefferson certainly helps his cause. The scoring is there and he does enough with his rebounding to boost his value. He’s also at a good salary. Diagnosis: Hot, reliable, and a decent ceiling.
Danuel House (vs DEN – $4,800): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. House was down to 20.8 fantasy points against the Blazers, but I’m not too concerned. He’s still getting enough minutes compared to his salary and he never lacks for opportunities in the Houston offense. Harden has to pass at some point, right? His girt will play a big factor in this game. Trust him to deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable and I have a gut feeling about him being the role player who steps up. Won’t hurt you at his salary.
