2. Sign another receiving threat

Allen Robinson was decent this season for the Bears. He played 13 games, amassed 754 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Without a complimentary receiving threat, Robinson was often double-teamed. This offense would greatly benefit from having another receiver who can play opposite of Robinson and take over the WR1 duties if and when he goes down.

First-year head coach Matt Nagy accomplished a ton with this young team. Tarik Cohen was an absolute nightmare for opponents in the backfield from a receiving standpoint. But this offense needs a little more juice to make an extra step closer to a title run. Trey Burton is a decent tight end and Taylor Gabriel is solid, but either drafting or picking up another receiver would greatly benefit this team going forward.

General manager Ryan Pace has shown the willingness to add pieces through free agency. The Bears signed Burton, Gabriel and Robinson last year, and they still have the cap space to make some more moves. It’ll be interesting to see how aggressive Pace decides to be.
