Will McKenzie Milton be back? No, this isn’t necessarily a question about whether he’ll be heading off to the NFL, because his leg injury kind of shot down those hopes, but rather will he ever return to the form he was at before the injury?

The gruesome injury is still on the minds of just about every UCF fan, and college football fan in general, and you can bet he wants to get back on that field to start another winning streak for the Knights.

Yes, this means UCF did finally lose after 25 consecutive wins as LSU was able to pull out a victory in a thrilling Fiesta Bowl. The Knights do have a decent backup in Darriel Mack Jr. who passed for 619 yards, three touchdowns and rushed for 337 yards and another six scores behind Milton this season and if the Heisman-caliber dual-threat isn’t able to go, his backup is more than ready.

It would be difficult to leave the Knights out of the AP Top 25 conversation, especially after a 12-1 season, but a star quarterback coming off a major injury, big losses on defense and the No. 53 recruiting class will keep this team out of the top 15.
