High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (vs MIN – $11,200): Needs 52.1 fantasy points. Westbrook had another poor shooting night against the Wizards, but still came up with the triple-double and 63.75 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting from Westbrook on most nights. Even when he’s not shooting well, he’s doing everything else well and is guaranteed to get you numbers. Based on his trend, he’ll shoot well in this game. Diagnosis: Typically reliable and always a high ceiling.

Kyle Lowry (vs ATL – $7,700): Needs 35.8 fantasy points. Lowry returned to the lineup on Jan. 6 against the Pacers and had 34.75 fantasy points. Kawhi Leonard will also be back in the lineup in this one and there is serious blowout potential. But even in limited minutes, I expect Lowry to produce in a pretty big way. He’ll get plenty of assists and enough points to be worth your while. Diagnosis: Reliable even in a blowout. If the game is competitive, that’s even better.

Lou Williams (vs CHA – $6,800): Needs 31.4 fantasy points. Williams has been solid and sometimes spectacular during this recent stretch for the Clippers. His minutes have been down a bit, which is slightly concerning. And his minutes might be down in this one because the Hornets are not good. But I’m going to trust that the Clippers keep them around. Williams will carve up this defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
