High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

TJ Warren (vs SAC – $6,200): Needs 26.1 fantasy points. This feels like a trap. Warren had 44.5 fantasy points against the Hornets on Jan. 6. He’s hot from the field and he actually had some assists against the Hornets. And if Booker is out, he’ll have more opportunities. And it’s the Kings on a back-to-back. Why shouldn’t I love Warren on Tuesday? Everything is working in his favor. I love him on Tuesday. This feels like a trap. Diagnosis: Is it a trap? I’ll be the guy hanging upside down from the tree if it is.

Bojan Bogdanovic (at CLE – $5,500): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Bogdanovic had 42.3 fantasy points against the Raptors on Jan. 6. With the Pacers possible missing both of their point guards, Bogdanovic will be tasked with a bigger role in the offense. We know he can step up. And it’s the Cavaliers. The only concern in this one is a blowout. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling. Should produce even in limited minutes.

Otto Porter Jr (at PHI – $4,900): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. Porter Jr. is still on a minutes restriction, but he is looking good coming off the bench. The Wizards might be onto something. Improve their bench by moving a starter to the role. It worked for Brooks in OKC. He’s at a very good salary and the matchup is good as the Sixers have depth problems of their own. Much like Warren, just a lot of good value in this game. So much so that it feels like another trap. Diagnosis: So many traps at small forward.
