High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Noah Vonleh (at GS – $6,100): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. Vonleh continues his strong play as he was at 34.8 fantasy points against the Blazers on Monday. The Warriors have frontcourt issues and there’s reason to believe that Vonleh can take advantage of them. Minutes are not an issue and he’s typically good for a strong number of points and rebounds. Diagnosis: Very reliable, good matchup and a good ceiling.

Thaddeus Young (at CLE – $6,000): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Young has been at 32 fantasy points in his last two games. If Turner doesn’t play, he should be in for another strong game. No Turner means more opportunities for Young. Even if Turner does play, the matchup is too good to pass up on. He should get enough points and rebounds, while also chipping in with defense, to make him a solid play. Diagnosis: Reliable with a higher ceiling if Turner doesn’t play.

Bam Adebayo (vs DEN – $4,400): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. Adebayo has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. I still worry that his minutes fall off a cliff because the Heat are all over the place with their frontcourt rotation. But while he’s getting the minutes, you may as well utilize him. The Nuggets are on a back-to-back, so hopefully, they have tired legs that Adebayo can take advantage of. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but inconsistent due to minutes.
