The Denver Broncos looked to be turning the corner in the second half of the season, as they had themselves in position for a possible playoff berth. However, the wheels fell off down the stretch, and by the time the dust settled, they were once again left out of the playoff race in the AFC.

Due to the fact that they finished with a losing season for the second straight year, the Broncos decided it was time to make a move at head coach, firing Vance Joseph after only two years. In that time, Joseph won only 11 games, and the team failed to get to .500 in consecutive seasons for the first time in 40 years.

As the team looks for their new head coach, you can be sure that the roster is going to see some changes this offseason. Last offseason, they brought in Case Keenum to be their franchise quarterback, and while he played well at times, he did not show the kind of magic that he displayed when leading the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC Championship Game last season.

One issue was the lack of talent at wide receiver, as they traded away Demaryius Thomas, and Emmanuel Sanders went down due to injury. Courtland Sutton played well as a rookie, but it would be wise for the team to bring in a wideout in the first round in 2019, and N’Keal Harry from Arizona State is one of the better players at his position in this draft class.
