The Cincinnati Bengals struggled through another disappointing season in 2018, as they failed to make the playoffs under head coach Marvin Lewis. In his 15-plus seasons as the helm of the franchise, Lewis did not win a single playoff game, and the organization finally decided it was time to let him go.

As they search for a new head coach, there will be a ton of changes with this roster, and they should look to the defensive side of the ball when it comes to the 2019 NFL Draft. In the first round, they could have the opportunity to bring in a solid talent at the linebacker position, as LSU’s Devin White should be around at No. 11.

White is a guy with tremendous physical attributes, possessing the quickness to play sideline to sideline. This Bengals defense needs a new leader, and in White, they would have a guy who is not only one of the better tacklers in college football, but one of the true leaders on that side of the ball.

There is no saying who the Bengals will bring in to be the head coach, though rumors have swirled that it could be former Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson. Whoever it is, the Bengals need to bring at least one playoff win to their fans, who have struggled watching a pretty talented team disappoint year in, and year out.
