53. . Wide Receiver. Ole Miss. A.J. Brown. 17. player

The Cleveland Browns took Baker Mayfield with the first overall selection in 2018, which was met with some skepticism from the experts. Sam Darnold from USC was widely seen as the best NFL quarterback prospect in the draft class, but  the Browns loved Mayfield, and the kind of leader he could be on and off the field.

Once inserted into the starting lineup, Mayfield started to make the Browns go, and they nearly finished the year with a record above .500. The organization finally got rid of head coach Hue Jackson, who won three games in three years at the helm, and while they do not have a head coach right now, the future is certainly bright for the franchise.

When it comes time for the Browns to draft in April, they actually will not be picking in the top-10, which has become a yearly ritual for them. Instead, they will be picking in the second half of the first round, and they should look to bring in a nice weapon for their new franchise quarterback at pick No. 17.

One of the best wideouts in this draft class is A.J. Brown, who would be a nice player to add to a group that includes Jarvis Landry and Antonio Callaway. Brown is a guy who can really take the lid off a defense, and the way this Browns team looks now, the more weapons the better for a kid who just won the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
