35. . Defensive Tackle. Mississippi State. Jeffery Simmons. 19. player

The Tennessee Titans had their chance to make it to the AFC Playoffs in Week 17, but were unable to come up with the victory over the Indianapolis Colts. With the loss, the Colts clinched a Wild Card berth, while the Titans were sent home for the Winter on the outside looking in at the playoffs.

It was a pretty disappointing end to the season for the Titans, who were looking to build off their stunning victory on the road in the Wild Card Round against the Kansas City Chiefs last season. Marcus Mariota continues to be the man under center moving forward, but he needs more weapons next season, and the defense needs an upgrade along the defensive line.

One player they could look to bring in via the 2019 NFL Draft is Jeffery Simmons from Mississippi State, who has the power, and athleticism  to be a good one at the NFL level. He is a big body, with incredible strength, and would get the opportunity to start right away for the Titans in 2019.

The AFC South is loaded, as two teams made the playoffs this season, and neither of them were the two teams that made it the year before. Tennessee needs to get better this offseason if they want to keep pace, and grabbing Simmons this late in round one would be a nice start.
