The Seattle Seahawks were a team not expected to do much this season, as there was just way too much turnover from one season to the next. The organization made a bunch of moves not only with coaching personnel, but the players on the field, and they just looked like they did not have enough talent to contend in 2018.

Well, they did have Russell Wilson still at quarterback, and one of the better head coaches in football in Pete Carroll. The Seahawks shocked everyone by making it to the Wild Card Round, and while they lost on the road to the Dallas Cowboys, they did put up one heck of a fight against the NFC East champs.

As they look towards the offseason, they have to be happy with where the franchise is headed. They were able to transition from an elite defensive team, to a well-rounded roster, and will now look to add the pieces to take the next step in their development in the 2019 NFL Draft and beyond.

One area where they could stand to add talent is up front on defense, and they may want to bring in two-time national champion Christian Wilkins from Clemson. Wilkins returned to Clemson for his senior season to win the big one, and against a very good Alabama offense, he showed why he was not only a first round talent last year, but this year as well.
