Ole Miss. D.K. Metcalf. 22. player. 26. . Wide Receiver

The Baltimore Ravens got out to a rough start against the Los Angeles Chargers this past Sunday, and were just not able to recover in time to win the Wild Card game in front of their home fans. Rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson looked like a rookie for the first three quarters, before finding his stride in the fourth, but it was just too late.

In Jackson, they have officially transitioned from one franchise quarterback in Joe Flacco, to the next, and he was dominant in the fourth against Los Angeles. Moving forward, he has to do a better job passing the football, as he can be electric running the ball, but that could seriously shorten his NFL career.

One of the issues with this Ravens team is that they do not have enough weapons on the outside, though they did get two touchdowns from Michael Crabtree on Sunday. Crabtree was wildly inconsistent this season, and it would be wise of the Ravens  to go out and bring in a wide receiver with their first round pick in 2019.

D.K. Metcalf from Ole Miss saw his season end due to injury, but he will be fine by the NFL Scouting Combine, and has already declare early for the 2019 NFL Draft. He is a guy who is the kind of playmaker this wideout group is lacking, and after drafting a tight end in the first round in 2018, bringing in more young talent to the passing attack should make Jackson an even better quarterback next season.
