2019 NFL mock draft: Josh Allen heads to the 49ers

With their final selection in the first round, and third overall, the Oakland Raiders should look to continue to bolster the defensive side of the ball. Oakland needs help on all three levels of their defense, and in the middle, they have been lacking a quality middle linebacker for quite some time now.
During the College Football Playoff national title game, new general manager Mike Mayock was on the sidelines checking out the talent, and he may want to roll with a player from that game at No. 27. Mack Wilson is one of the better middle linebackers in college football, and would be an instant starter on this Raiders roster.
Wilson is not only one of the better tacklers in college football, but also one of the smartest linebackers, and has had to work for everything he has achieved at Alabama. He is a fierce competitor, and would be a nice fit for what Mayock and Jon Gruden are trying to do with this roster.
Oakland has a long way to go before they are competitive, but having three first round picks and a bunch of cap space is a nice start. Mayock is a draft genius, and you have to think they brought him in due to the fact they have so much draft capital over the next two drafts, possessing five first round picks.
