Players costing $6,250 or under

Josh Hart (vs DET – $6,100): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. Hart was up to 49 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Jan. 7. Kyle Kuzma being back in the lineup as it moves him down the pecking order, which helps his value overall. The Pistons are a mess and I don’t trust them for anything. I’m not high on the Lakers without LeBron, butHart gets his shots and opportunities. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable and a high ceiling.

Malcolm Brogdon (at HOU – $5,400): Needs 25 fantasy points. Brogdon has been over 32 fantasy points in his last two games. I continue to love Brogdon’s game as he does a bit of everything and always gets the minutes. The Rockets are good, but their defense remains a question mark. And I know the Bucks are a good offensive team. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (at NO – $5,200): Needs 24 fantasy points. Clarkson had 37 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Jan. 5. It’s a back-to-back for the Cavaliers, which has me a bit concerned, but overall I love this matchup because the Pelicans don’t offer much defense and Clarkson is a pro scorer. There’s some other good value at PG including Melton and Neto. Keep an eye on them as well. Diagnosis: Make sure you read prior to the diagnosis.
