High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (vs MIL – $12,200): Needs 56.4 fantasy points. It’s James Harden. It doesn’t matter the matchup, the salary, the circumstances, the day, the venue, or the sport. Ok, maybe the sport. But otherwise, you know what you’re getting from Harden. He’s going to get his points, get plenty of rebounds and chip in with assists. He’ll need a big game in this one and I trust him to get it. Diagnosis: It’s Harden. You can always trust him.

DeMar DeRozan (at MEM – $8,000): Needs 36.4 fantasy points. DeRozan was at 55.25 fantasy points against the Pistons on Jan. 7. He did have just 28.75 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Jan. 5, which is slightly concerning, but I trust DeRozan to have a bounce back performance in against them in this game. He’s still the top option on the Spurs and can do a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable and he’ll get his buckets due to the need for his tough scoring.

Brandon Ingram (vs DET – $7,500): Needs 34.7 fantasy points. I like Ingram as a player, yes, I’m that guy, but he’s wildly inconsistent as a DFS option. He was up to 44.75 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Jan. 7. But he’s also prone to not producing anything despite having good matchups. The Pistons are a good matchup and the talent is there. I’m going to trust him, but can’t say I blame you if you don’t. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but very inconsistent.
