High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Bojan Bogdanovic (at BOS – $5,800): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. As always, you typically know what you’re getting with Bogdanovic. He does a bit of everything and has a good scoring ceiling due to the number of shots he gets. They Pacers will need his scoring against the Celtics and I trust him to deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Derrick White (at MEM – $4,900): Needs 22.6 fantasy points. Much like Bogdanovic, you know what you’re getting from White. He’s a reliable option at an affordable salary and he has a decent ceiling. He had 27.5 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Jan. 5. He does a bit of everything, although his assist numbers have been down in recent games. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Jeremy Lin (at BKN – $4,200): Needs 19.4 fantasy points. Lin drew the start against the Raptors and came away with 36.5 fantasy points. The Hawks are banged up and if Lin draws the start again, at this salary, he should be in for a strong night. It’s a sort of revenge game as he didn’t play many minutes against the Nets earlier this season. Although I don’t know if Lin cares about revenge. Diagnosis: High ceiling. Take with confidence if he starts.
