Players costing $6,250 or under

Jayson Tatum (vs IND – $5,900): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. Tatum had 32 fantasy points against the Nets on Jan. 7. He’s been solid for the most part during this recent stretch. He does a bit of everything and I think his scoring numbers will be up in this game as the Pacers will need his scoring ability. He’ll also chip in with rebounds. Diagnosis: Love this matchup because I trust him to step up.

Derrick Favors (vs ORL – $5,600): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. Favors has been over 29 fantasy points in four of his last five games. And now he gets the Magic. He’s been getting enough points and rebounds, but he’s really stepped up on the defensive end, getting numbers in those categories. I trust that his defense will continue to be there and his offense shouldn’t suffer in this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Jaren Jackson Jr (vs SA – $5,400): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. Triple J was down to 12.75 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Jan. 7. He played on 22 minutes in that game, so maybe his minutes are down again. I really have no clue with where his minutes are going to be, but he did have 32.75 fantasy points against the Spurs on Jan. 5. That’s what gives me hope coming into this game. And I’ll cling to that. Diagnosis: Will produce if the minutes are there. A chance the minutes aren’t there.
