SALT LAKE CITY, UT – JANUARY 30: Joe Ingles /

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Joe Ingles (vs ORL – $6,000): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. Ingles is starting to creep back up to respectability. This is largely about the matchup and circumstances. With Rubio out, more of the offense will run through Ingles as the point guy. He’s an underrated playmaker and he’ll shoot better than he did against the Bucks. Most importantly, it’s Orlando. He’ll make it happen in this one. Diagnosis: Good matchup and reliable in this matchup.

Otto Porter Jr (vs PHI – $5,900): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. Porter Jr had a rough game against the Sixers on Tuesday, but he remains at a decent salary for what he should be able to put up. I still like him coming off the bench because it means more opportunities and the Wizards should bounce back with a better effort at home. They’ll probably lose, but the NBA is weird and Andrew Wiggins just scored 40 points and what is supposed to be a good defense. Diagnosis: Trust him to bounce back given his role.

Harrison Barnes (vs PHO – $5,600): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. This largely depends on the status of Luka. Barnes has not been good in recent contests and his value is still tied to his scoring way too much. But if Luka is out, someone has to get buckets for the Mavericks. And Barnes is a professional scorer. If Luka plays, the matchup is still good because it’s the Suns but he’s a much higher risk. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if Luka is out.
