High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (at SA – $11,300): Needs 52.8 fantasy points. It’s Russell Westbrook. You can always count on him to get you numbers and flirt with a triple-double. The Spurs are typically a tough matchup for him, but the Spurs are also on a back-to-back, which should help his cause on Thursday. And really the matchup doesn’t matter on most nights for Westbrook because he almost always delivers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling. The matchup is tough, but less so due to the back-to-back.

Kyrie Irving (at MIA – $9,000): Needs 42.1 fantasy points. A lack of minutes held Kyrie back from doing anything worthwhile on Wednesday. Trust that the minutes will be there in this game given that the Heat should put up more of a fight. Irving is on a great stretch right now and if this game is competitive, he’ll deliver. Don’t be shocked to see a Kyrie-Wade duel. Diagnosis: As long as the game is competitive, Kyrie will deliver.

De’Aaron Fox (vs DET – $7,600): Needs 35.3 fantasy points. After a few rough games, Fox has looked more like himself in the past two games. Granted, it was against the Magic and Suns. Still, it’s a good sign that he was able to bounce back. And now he gets the Pistons, who are on a back-to-back. Expect a strong performance out of Fox in this one. I actually love him at this salary as he could give you just as much as Kyrie on a cheaper deal. Diagnosis: Love him on Thursday. He’ll deliver with a strong performance.
