Players costing $6,250 or under

Dwyane Wade (vs BOS – $5,100): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. It’s big game Wade. He’s been very consistent during this recent stretch and this would definitely qualify as a big game for him as the Celtics are one of the top teams in the league. And they are on a back-to-back, which should help the cause of Wade and other Miami players. If nothing else, he’ll get you value. Diagnosis: Reliable and I always trust him in these big games because that’s what he does.

Derrick White (vs OKC – $4,900): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. It was a rough night for the Spurs, but White still managed 16.25 fantasy points in 16 minutes against the Grizzlies on Wednesday. His minutes will be up in this one and he’s played good basketball for them during this stretch. Trust that the Spurs will be better and White will bounce back. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Marcus Smart (at MIA – $4,700): Needs 21.8 fantasy points. Much like Irving and many others on the Celtics, a lack of minutes didn’t allow him to contribute on Wednesday. The minutes will be there with this one. Miami can turn games into a grind and no one grinds like Marcus Smart. He’s at a good salary given his usual production. Diagnosis: Feels like a Marcus Smart game. He’ll deliver in this one.
