DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 10, 2019
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Jayson Tatum (at MIA – $6,000): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. Tatum had 27.5 fantasy points in 25 minutes against the Pacers on Wednesday. The minutes should be up in this game as the heat will make things more competitive. Tatum has solidified for the for the Celtics during this stretch and I trust his scoring and rebounding to be there in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Gordon Hayward (at MIA – $5,700): Needs 26 fantasy points. Hayward is in a similar boat to Tatum. The scoring and rebounding should be there. He’s been looking more like himself over the past couple of weeks and that’s been big for the Celtics. He’s at a better salary than Tatum and has a similar ceiling, but isn’t quite as reliable because he hasn’t proven it for long this season. Diagnosis: Reliable at the moment with a good ceiling.
Davis Bertans (vs OKC – $3,700): Needs 16.9 fantasy points. This is a Davis Bertans game. Some random player off the bench always hurts the Thunder and Bertans is the guy who will get it done. He’s done some good things for the Spurs this season and I just trust this matchup based on what I know about the Thunder. Diagnosis: A gut feeling pick, but it’s not like he’ll hurt you at this salary.
