High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gordon Hayward (at MIA – $5,500): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Hayward had 25 fantasy points in 22 minutes against the Pacers on Wednesday. He looks to be back in near top form, which is a big reason why the Celtics have turned things around. And he’s at a good salary. He does a bit of everything and with the way he’s been playing, I don’t have many doubts about him. Trust him to stay in his current state. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Davis Bertans (vs OKC – $4,400): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. Bertans was a non-factor against the Grizzlies on Wednesday, but he’s provided the Spurs with solid production recently and I love this matchup. Some random white guy always hurts the Thunder for a big game. And Bertans is just the random white guy to hurt them. Diagnosis: A gut feeling based on what I know about the Thunder.

Justin Jackson (vs DET – $3,900): Needs 16.5 fantasy points. Jackson has been strong during the recent stretch for the Kings. And he’s earned more playing time as a result, which certainly helps. The Pistons aren’t great and on a back-to-back, which also helps. He’s doing a bit of everything and the Kings pace makes it easy for guys to contribute in all areas. As a low-cost option, you could do worse. Diagnosis: Reliable due to salary and a good ceiling if his minutes remain up.
