High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Steph Curry (vs CHI – $9,900): Needs 45.9 fantasy points. This is a blowout factor in this one. But read me out. In his last three games against the Bulls, Curry is averaging 50.3 fantasy points in 29 minutes. That’s 1.74 FPPM. That’s nuts. So, even in blowouts, he’s posting monster games. And if the Bulls can somehow keep it competitive, that’s even better news for his value. This matchup is just perfect for him. Diagnosis: Don’t let a blowout scare you. History shows that he gets busy against the Bulls.

Kyle Lowry (vs BKN – $7,600): Needs 35.4 fantasy points. Lowry has provided solid value since returning to the lineup and his minutes have been down due to the Raptors playing very well. The matchup is a good one (Nets are 29th against the position) and on a night with a lot of action, taking a reliable hand like Lowry is never a bad thing. He also has a good ceiling as he’s a double-double threat. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good matchup and ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (vs LAL – $7,900): Needs 36.6 fantasy points. Mitchell had 51.5 fantasy points against the Magic on Jan. 9. With Rubio out, he did what he needed to do and stepped up on the offensive end. I don’t worry too much about his scoring and he’ll start to get more assists without Rubio. The Lakers looked good against the Pistons, but the Pistons are terrible. Mitchell will carve up their defense. Diagnosis: Continue to love his game without Rubio. He’ll have another strong performance.
