High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (at WAS – $5,700): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. Longtime readers know that I love me some Malcolm Brogdon. He’s as reliable as they come right now and his salary has not gone high enough for me to stop taking him. Plus, it’s the Wizards. Brogdon is playing outstanding right now and until I see him slip, I’ll continue to put him in my lineup. Diagnosis: Very reliable, great matchup, and a good ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (at HOU – $5,700): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. Clarkson has been over 35 fantasy points in his last three games. I’ve been riding him for the last week or so and he hasn’t let me down. The minutes are there and you never have to worry about the shots he’s getting. He’s even chipping in with defense, which has been nice. The Rockets defense is still suspects and Clarkson should get buckets. Diagnosis: Inconsistent because he’s Jordan Clarkson. But red hot and a high ceiling.

Jeremy Lin (at PHI – $4,600): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Lin has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. He went back to the bench against the Nets but it didn’t matter as he still got plenty of minutes. The bench might suit him better, especially with the Sixers lack of depth. When he’s gotten minutes this season, he’s produced in a big way. I trust that he’ll continue to do so in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
