High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Fred VanVleet (vs BKN – $5,400): Needs 23 fantasy points. The Raptors are getting healthy but VanVleet is still starting and playing well. You can always pair VanVleet with Lowry and feel confident in your two point guard. They are going to get you value, at the very least and there’s always a chance that one of them has a big game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Jeremy Lin (at PHI – $5,100): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. Lin has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. Even coming off the bench, he’s been playing well. And the Sixers depth is not very good. Lin should be able to take advantage of the Sixers with his scoring and passing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Collin Sexton (at HOU – $4,500): Needs 19.2 fantasy points. Sexton has been down in recent games and his minutes have dropped. But he’s at a good salary and can typically do a bit of everything. What really gives me confidence is that he had 33.8 against the Rockets on Nov. 24. This is kind of a gut feeling pick as Sexton hasn’t proven much lately, but I have a good feeling about him overall. Diagnosis: A gut feeling that he provides good value.
