High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (at WAS – $6,100): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Brogdon has been over 33 fantasy points in his last three games. I’ve loved his game for the majority of the season and now he’s playing the best basketball of the season. Until I see something different from him, I’ll continue to take him. He should have no issue getting numbers against the Wizards. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (at HOU – $6,000): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. Clarkson has been over 34 fantasy points in his last three games. He’s a reason why I think the Cavaliers will be able to hang around in this game. He’s been doing well with his scoring and chipping in with defense. The Rockets defense isn’t great and Clarkson should be able to get his scoring numbers in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Kevin Huerter (at PHI – $4,900): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. Huerter has played well in his last two games. He’s a rookie, which is always a bit concerning for me, but I don’t trust the Sixers for much right now and Huerter never lacks for opportunities. He’s getting scoring numbers, but really boosting his value with his rebounding. He’s at a good salary given his recent production. Diagnosis: Sort of a gut feeling, but he is hot and the matchup is solid.
