High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Otto Porter Jr (vs MIL – $6,100): Needs 25.7 fantasy points. Porter Jr bounced back and had 37.2 fantasy points against the Sixers on Jan. 9. I still like him coming off the bench and he was up to 33 minutes against the Sixers, which shows that he’s much healthier. He typically plays well against the Bucks and he’s at a good salary. Diagnosis: A tad inconsistent, but a high ceiling.

DeMarre Carroll (at TOR – $5,400): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Carroll was down to 19.6 fantasy points against the Hawks on Jan. 9. He played only 21 minutes. I trust he’ll see more minutes in this one. He had been playing well for the prior to the Hawks game so it was likely an off night. Trust him to be better in this one. Diagnosis: Trust him to bounce back given his production prior to the Bulls game.

Nicolas Batum (at POR – $5,300): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. Batum has been providing solid minutes for the Hornets during this recent stretch and now he gets the one matchup he always delivers against. He averaged 33.1 fantasy points in two games against the Blazers last season. Revenge is always on his mind and he just raises his game in this matchup. Diagnosis: Batum against Portland typically goes well for him. Trust that to continue.
