High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Jokic (at PHO – $10,800): Needs 51.4 fantasy points. The only concern with this game is a blowout. But even in limited minutes, Jokic has shown that he can put up big numbers. He’s averaging 67.5 fantasy points in two games against the Suns this season and an insane 1.96 FPPM. Everything runs through him and he does a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Reliable even in a blowout. And if it’s competitive, he’ll deliver big.

Karl-Anthony Towns (vs NO – $9,900): Needs 47.1 fantasy points. Towns had 56.75 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Friday. He’s been excellent really since the Butler trade and he’s obviously the best player on the team. He’s a nearly guaranteed double-double and has a high scoring ceiling. He’ll have to battle Davis and Randle in the paint, but no one else is going to get those numbers so I will trust Towns to deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Willie Cauley-Stein (vs CHA – $6,900): Needs 32.8 fantasy points. WCS has been over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games. And now he gets the Hornets, who are weak against frontcourt players and on a back-to-back. WCS is typically good for points and rebounds and always a double-double threat. He also chips in with rebounds. Trust this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
