High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (vs SA – $11,800): Needs 55 fantasy points. Westbrook had 83.25 fantasy points against the Spurs on Jan. 10. It was a double OT game and he’s unlike to rack up 24 assists again, but you typically know what you’re getting with Westbrook. The man just gets numbers. And he’ll get numbers in this one. A triple-double is never out of the question for him and the ceiling is obviously high for a guy who can get 24 assists. Diagnosis: You can always build around Westbrook with confidence.

De’Aaron Fox (vs CHA – $7,900): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. Fox was down to 30.75 fantasy points against the Pistons, but played just 24 minutes. Hopefully the Hornets put up more of a fight, although they are on a back-to-back. I continue to love the Kings because of their style of play and the Hornets play right into their hands. Expect a bounce back performance from Fox in this one. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Jamal Murray (at PHO – $7,400): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. Fox hasn’t been great in terms of fantasy numbers in recent games, but he gets the Suns. And, like most players, he kills the Suns. He’s averaging 56.4 fantasy points in two games against the Suns this season. There is a blowout potential, which could limit him overall, but the matchup is too good to pass up on. Diagnosis: If the game is competitive, Murray will have a big performance.
