High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Donovan Mitchell (vs CHI – $8,500): Needs 39.4 fantasy points. Mitchell continues to deliver with Rubio out of the lineup. He was up to 58 fantasy points against the Lakers on Friday. He’s scoring the ball very well and with no Rubio, he’s chipping in with more assists. And now he gets the Bulls. This should be another big game for Mitchell. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling. A blowout is possible.

Jrue Holiday (at MIN – $7,800): Needs 36.2 fantasy points. Holiday hasn’t been up to par recently, but his minutes have been down and the Pelicans haven’t need him quite like they used to, especially with Payton back in the lineup. But this is a relatively big game and it’s a back-to-back for the Timberwolves. If nothing else, Holiday is a reliable option. Diagnosis: Reliable and I have a good feeling he’ll be nicely over value in this one.

Andrew Wiggins (vs NO – $7,000): Needs 31.9 fantasy points. Wiggins had 34.5 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Friday. His value can still be too largely tied to his scoring, but the Pelicans perimeter defense is not good and the they aren’t a good team at home. Of course, the Timberwolves are on a back-to-back. Wiggins never lacks for shots, so I’m going to trust the matchup. Diagnosis: A good ceiling, but he’s Andrew Wiggins and not playing the Cavaliers or Thunder.
