High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jerami Grant (vs SA – $5,300): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. Grant had 48 fantasy points in the double OT game on Thursday. Again, none of these guys will have the same performance, but the circumstances will be there for Grant if Adams doesn’t end up playing. He’ll be their only useful frontcourt player, which means a lot of rebounds and scoring opportunities. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if Adams is out. And if Adams plays, he’s still a reliable option.

Marvin Bagley III (vs CHA – $5,000): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. Prior to Bagley’s injury, I loved him as the energy guy off the bench. His minutes aren’t quite back up to that range, but he’s going to pop at some point at a low salary and you won’t want to miss out. The Hornets are a good matchup as well. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable if nothing else. But a high ceiling if he’s back over 25 minutes.

Davis Bertans (at OKC – $3,700): Needs 16.9 fantasy points. The Spurs may actually miss a three on Saturday, but Bertans remains their best shooter. And like I said prior to Thursday’s game, a role player who can shoot always comes off the bench and hurts OKC. Bertans is still my favorite option, although Belinelli is an option as well. Diagnosis: Won’t hurt you at this salary and I once again like the matchup.
