High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Jokic (at PHO – $11,000): Needs 49 fantasy points. Even in a blowout, Jokic should have a big game. In two games against the Suns this season, he’s averaging 67.5 fantasy points in 34.5 minutes. That’s 1.96 FPPM, which is pretty nuts. So, even if he only plays 27 minutes, he’ll be over value. And if the game is competitive, that’s even better for his value. Diagnosis: Should deliver even in a blowout.

Julius Randle (at MIN – $8,200): Needs 36.6 fantasy points. Randle had 36.6 fantasy points in 27 minutes against the Cavaliers on Jan. 9. He’s been playing well in the starting lineup and I trust this matchup as the Timberwolves are not good and on a back-to-back. Randle should do a bit of everything in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Willie Cauley-Stein (vs CHA – $7,600): Needs 33.9 fantasy points. WCS has been over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games. And now he gets the Hornets on a back-to-back. I continue to love many players on the Kings due to their pace and WCS benefits more than most because of it. This is mainly about the matchup as the Hornets have struggled against opposing frontcourt players. Diagnosis: Reliable and a high ceiling.
