High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Anthony Davis (at MIN – $12,800): Needs 55.5 fantasy points. Davis was up to a monster 81.1 fantasy points against the Cavaliers. The Timberwolves are on a back-to-back, but they are at home and the Pelicans are pretty poor on the road. Which means this should be a competitive game and Davis will be able to get his usual big numbers. Diagnosis: You can always build around Davis with confidence, especially against a poor team like the Timberwolves.

LaMarcus Aldridge (at OKC – $8,500): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. Aldridge had 79.8 fantasy points against the Thunder in the double OT. Once again, he’s unlikely to hit that number again, but his history against the Thunder is very good and if they are without Noel and Adams, they really have no one who can stop him on defense. Even if one of Noel or Adams plays, you can take him and feel good. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a high ceiling.

Paul Millsap (at PHO – $6,700): Needs 29 fantasy points. Millsap was down to 20.8 fantasy points against the Clippers. He’s been up-and-down since returning to the lineup and isn’t exactly trustworthy. But it’s the Suns. He should get his points and rebounds in this one while chipping in in other areas. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but I’m not thrilled with the other choices at PF and Millsap does have a good matchup and ceiling.
