DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 13, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Steph Curry (at DAL – $9,800): Needs 45.6 fantasy points. Curry had 46.75 fantasy points in just 27 minutes against the Bulls on Jan. 11. His minutes should be up in this one as the Mavericks will make it a bit more competitive. There’s very little doubt in Curry’s game right now. He’s been getting you value at the very least and there’s always a chance he has a much bigger game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling.
Damian Lillard (at DEN – $8,600): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. Lillard had 46.5 fantasy points in 29 minute against the Hornets on Jan. 11. Much like Curry, his minutes should be up in this one as the Nuggets will make things closer. The Nuggets are on a back-to-back, but they’ve been a strong team all season so I’m not worried about their compete level. Lillard’s scoring has dipped in a big way, but expect it to pick back up in this game. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
Lonzo Ball (vs CLE – $6,400): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. Pay attention now because you’re getting a 2-for-1 special with Lonzo and Ingram. I can’t stand either one of them because you never know what you’re going to get from them. But it’s the Cavaliers. Ingram should have a good scoring game while chipping in with a number of assists and rebounds. And Lozno is always a low-end triple-double threat. The matchup is great. One of them will have a big game. I’m leaning towards Lonzo, but flip a coin. Diagnosis: All about the matchup as neither Lonzo or Ingram should be trusted. But it’s the Cavs.
