Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (at ORL – $12,700): Needs 59.1 fantasy points. Harden had an insane 88 fantasy points in 30 minutes. How Sway? You always know what you’re getting from Harden. Even in a blowout, he delivers a big game. His salary is nuts and maybe you think he falls off at some point, but I haven’t seen it and I’m not doubting him at this point. Diagnosis: He costs a lot, but he delivers in a big way almost every time out.

Klay Thompson (at DAL – $7,200): Needs 33.4 fantasy points. Klay has found his rhythm and that’s scary. He was up to 41.5 fantasy points in 25 minutes against the Bulls. His value is still largely tied to his scoring, but the man is shooting red hot and you know he’ll continue to get shots. Trust him to stay hot. Diagnosis: Hot and fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

CJ McCollum (at DEN – $6,600): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. McCollum has been good in the last two games, but it was against the Bulls and Hornets. They are getting the Nuggets on a back-to-back, but it’s still a good Nuggets team. Still, McCollum is playing well and I’ll trust that he can keep it up. Diagnosis: A bit inconsistent, but a good ceiling and hot.
