High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Harrison Barnes (vs GS – $5,600): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. Barnes’ value is still largely tied to his scoring, but this is just a matchup he performs against. He’s averaging 31.3 fantasy points in his last five games against the Warriors and has been over 31 fantasy points in both games against them this season. He just takes them choosing Durant over him very personally. Diagnosis: Proven matchup despite his value being tied to his scoring.

Al Farouq Aminu (at DEN – $4,800): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. Aminu’s numbers has been down a bit in his last two games, but his salary has dropped and the minutes weren’t always there due to easy matchups. He had 32.75 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Nov. 30. And with the Nuggets on a back-to-back, I’m going to trust that Aminu is able to deliver a solid performance. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Gerald Green (at ORL – $4,000): Needs 18.3 fantasy points. Green typically gets the minutes to contribute and the shots as well. The matchup is a good one, it’s just a matter of him hitting shots because his value is mainly tied to his scoring. You never quite know what you’re going to get from Green, but there are positive signs heading into Sunday. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and matchup.
