High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Mason Plumlee (vs POR – $4,600): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. Plumlee still isn’t seeing the minutes with the Nuggets getting healthy, but he is making his minutes count. I do like this matchup for him because he can be used against Nurkic. You may also want to take a look at Jerebko, who has killed the Mavericks this season. But Plumlee is more guaranteed to at least get some playing time. Diagnosis: Decent ceiling and I like this matchup for him.

P.J. Tucker (at ORL – $4,500): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. Tucker was down to 15 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Jan. 11, but it was a blowout, so don’t be too concerned about that. He typically gets plenty of minutes and shots while also chipping in with a handful of rebounds and assists. The matchup is good as the Magic are not good and on a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good matchup.

Michael Beasley (vs CLE – $3,800): Needs 17.4 fantasy points. Beasley has been over 27 fantasy points in his last two games. He’s not playing many minutes, but he’s making the most of those minutes. The scoring numbers are there and he chips in a little with defense. The matchup is a very good one. Diagnosis: Good ceiling but, also, he’s Michael Beasley.
