1. Listen to Possible QB Trade Offers

Before I start getting angry tweets, I’m not saying that the Eagles have to trade Carson Wentz. Both Wentz and Nick Foles have made contributions to this franchise, and the two would both be suitable starters in 2019 given their resumes.

However, the trade value for either quarterback is going to be pretty significant this offseason. The incoming quarterback prospects in the 2019 NFL draft are far from stellar, and QB-needy teams will be trying to find a potential starter in other ways, be it free agency or via trade.

The real question is if the Eagles will decline Foles’ team option to make him a free agent. His option is a significant $20 million for 2019, but I think NFL teams would still come calling if the Eagles picked that option up. It’s worth wondering if the Eagles would consider picking up Foles’ option and trading Wentz if the offered for the talented young QB were too tempting to pass up on.

It’s definitely a great situation to be in for the Eagles, so there’s no reason for them to pull the trigger too quickly.
