High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Clint Capela (at ORL – $9,200): Needs 41.1 fantasy points. Capela was down to 34.8 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Jan. 11. Don’t be too concerned as it was a blowout. Capela is usually good for at least value due to his scoring and rebounding. His rebounding numbers will be there in this one and he’ll also chip in with defense. Expect a bounce back performance from him on Sunday. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Jusuf Nurkic (at DEN – $9,000): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. Nurkic was up to 56.2 fantasy points against the Hornets on Jan. 11. And he always seems to play well against the Nuggets since they are the team that traded him. He ahd 42.7 fanatsy points against them on Nov. 30. And with the Nuggets on a back-to-back, the circumstances are good for him on Sunday. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

DeAndre Jordan (vs GS – $7,200): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. I typically can’t stand Jordan because his game is all over the place. He’s the Brandon Ingram of centers. Expect maybe worse. Think about that for a second. But I like this matchup due to the Warriors frontcourt issues. I’m going to trust that Jordan gets his points and rebounds in this one. Although it’s just as likely that he doesn’t do anything but stand there and look athletic. Diagnosis: Very inconsistent, but a good matchup and high ceiling.
