FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 13, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Steph Curry (at DAL – $10,200): Needs 43.4 fantasy points. It doesn’t matter the opponent right now for Curry, he has been a force. His ceiling may not be as high as someone like Harden, but he’s a cheaper option and just as reliable. If this game is close, that’s even better for Curry. He’s on fire right now and there’s little chance that the Mavericks ill be able to slow him down. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Damian Lillard (at DEN – $9,100): Needs 38.8 fantasy points. Lillard had 51.3 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Hornets. His scoring numbers have dropped, but he’s getting it done in other areas. I expect his scoring numbers to pick back up in this one as the Nuggets defense will force him to get some tough buckets. And the Nuggets are on a back-to-back, so they might be a tad slow. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Jamal Murray (vs POR – $7,200): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. Murray had 35.3 fantasy points against the Suns on Saturday. His scoring numbers have been all over the place, but if he’s contributing in other areas, that is great for his value. It’s a tough matchup, especially being on a back-to-back. You can always look at Lonzo Ball, who has a much better matchup, but is also Lonzo Ball. Diagnosis: Good ceiling, but inconsistent.
